Last respects to the 110 Jewish who lie married in the Margot Jewish cemetery–the only Jewish burial ground on Cyprus–were ?aid today by Israel-bound displaced Jews who left the Kylotymbou and Caraolos Internment camps on the final lap of their Journey to the Jewish state.
Following a ceremony at the cemetery in which representatives of the Jewish agency, the Joint Distribution Committee and the internees placed wreaths on the ##geves of the 61 adults and 49 infants interred here, special honor was paid to the ?enory of two Cyprus internees–Moshe Leherer and Shlcmo Chimson–who were shot and hilled by British military guards on the island.
