Leaders of various political parties on Cyprus met yesterday in Nicosia, capital city of Cyprus, to protest the reported British plan to intern visaless Jewish refugees on the island, it was reported here today.
Another report from Cyprus said that a first batch of 500 Jews is expected there on Monday, with 2,000 more coming later in the week.
