Cyril J. Ross, philanthropist, patron of the arts and a talented painter in his own right died in Zurich, Switzerland yesterday at 82. Ross was treasurer of the Ben Uri Art Society and treasurer of the Zangwill Fellowship. He had served as treasurer of the Jewish National Fund. He achieved distinction with a series of oil paintings in traditional style which were exhibited in London and in Paris.
