Normal postal communications between Czechoslovakia and Israel have been resumed, the Czechoslovak Post Office announced today.
Meanwhile, Czechoslovak Zionists have sent a message to Foreign Minister Vlado Clementis thanking him for Czechoslovakia’s recognition of the Jewish state. The message assured Clementis that the Czech Zionists’ gratitude will find expression in an “increasing contribution to the democratic development of the Czech people’s republic.” A similar message was sent to Clementis by the Council of Jewish Communities of Bohemia-Moravia.
