The Relief Committee of Jews from Czechoslovakia and the Committee of Jews from Czechoslovakia for Material Claims Against Germany today expressed support of a move by the British Section of the World Jewish Congress to broaden the representative base of the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
The WJC bid was made in a resolution adopted at the organization’s recent national conference calling for the world claims conference to include among its sponsoring organizations representative Jewish bodies in countries occupied by the Nazis as well as representative bodies of countries which have lost their freedom of expression.
