Czech legislators passed a law providing for the return of property looted by the Nazis from the nation’s Jews and Jewish organizations. Under the law, assets confiscated from Jewish associations, foundations and communities between September 1938 and May 1945 will be returned. The law does not apply to agricultural land and forests within national parks.
