A pledge that Jews will enjoy all rights in post-war Czechoslovakia was made today by Hubert Ripka, Minister of State in the Czechoslovakian Foreign Ministry, in a message sent to the Federation of Czechoslovakian Jews.
“Whenever I have the opportunity of expressing an opinion concerning the future peace,” Mr. Ripka wrote, “I stress the necessity of restoring equal rights to Jews. As far as Czechoslovakia is concerned, no doubt can exist that the Jewish population in our republic, in the western half as well as in Slovakia and sub-Carpathian Russia, will enjoy all the righto it enjoyed before the German occupation.”
