Czech Minister Goldstucker today presented his credentials to Israel President Chaim Weizmann. At the ceremony, witnessed by Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett, the Czech diplomat said that the presentation marked the establishment of “regular diplomatic and friendly relations” between the two nations.
In his reply, President Weizmann said that “Czechoslovakia is engraved in the annals of our people as a cultural center for generations. Israel will never forget Czechoslovakia’s aid to Israel’s straggle for rebirth,” he added.
