The hope that close economic and cultural ties will soon be established between Czechoslovakia and Israel was expressed today by Minister of Industry Dr. Zdenek Fierlinger at a conference of labor Zionist youths held in Rajecka Teplica in Slovakia.
Dr. Fierlinger, who is also head of the Czech Social Democratic Party, congratulated the delegates on the occasion of the creation of the Jewish state and extended his greetings to the new state.
