A refugee camp housing 4,000 persons has been set up at Nachod on the Czech-Polish frontier for Jews fleeing from Poland. It was announced today that the Cabinet is considering proposals submitted by the Ministry of Welfare for solving the various problems which have arisen as a result of the influx of Jewish refugees from Poland.

Anton Vasek, former head of the Department of Jewish Affairs in the Slovak puppet government, was hanged in Bratislava today. Vasek was condemned to death last week by a Peoples Court there on charges of having caused the death of 50,000 Jews.
