Thirty-one teachers from Czechoslovakia were the guests at a banquet given in their honor by the Hebrew teachers of Palestine.
Representatives of various Jewish institutions attended the reception. The Czechoslovak consul, in an address, stressed the sympathy of his government for “the brilliant Jewish work in Palestine.” Prof. Peter Bok, head of the Czechoslovak party in reply to the address stated that the visitors carry away with them enthusiasm for the Jewish colonization work in Palestine and particularly great admiration for the work of the Chaluzim.
