The amount of 1,900.000 Czech Kronen (approximately $57,000) is provided in the 1929 budget of the Czechoslovak government for Jewish religious needs. The same budget contains an allottment of 88,000,000 kronen for the minorities’ schools. No specification is made as to how much of this amount will be allotted for Hebrew or Yiddish schools.
The 1928 budget countained an appropriation of any 80,000 kronen for Jewish religious needs.
