Mordecai Oren, Israeli Mapam leader sentenced to 15 year’s imprisonment in Czechoslovakia following his “confession” of anti-state activities in connection with the Slansky affair, will be released from prison shortly, it was reported here today from Prague.
Jewish leaders in Geneva refused to make any comment on the report, but expressed the hope that it was true. Mr. Oren has been in prison for more than two years.
