A drive against all anti-Nazi organizations in Czechoslovakia was pushed by the Government today, reportedly causing a panic in German emigre circles, according to the Havas News Agency.
A decree ordered dissolution of the “Schwarze Front” (Black Front), whose chieftain was Otto Strasser, brother of Gregoer Strasser, assassinated by Nazis in the blood purge of July, 1934, Havas said.
Police were reported conducting intense investigation, under close secrecy, of all elements suspected of activity incompatible with Czechoslovak “hospitality.” They were understood to have uncovered two important espionage organizations. These discoveries may lead to “sensational” arrests, it was said.
