A history of Czechoslovakian Jews from 1918 to 1948 is now being prepared by the Society for the History of Czechoslovak Jews, Inc., financed in part by the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, it was announced here today by Dr. Guido Kisch, honorary president of the organization. The society is the successor organization to the former Prague Historical Society, of which Dr. Kisch is the sole surviving member.
At a meeting of the successor organization here yesterday, where Dr. Kisch was chosen honorary president, the following other officers were elected: Dr. Kurt Wehle, president; Dr. William W. Reiner and Rabbi Hugo Stransky, vice-presidents; Walter Kauders, secretary. The editorial board will consist of Dr. Kisch, Dr. Hans Kohn and Dr. Oskar K. Rabinowicz.
