Daniel Burman’s film “El Abrazo Partido,” or Lost Embrace, earned second prize at the Berlin film festival. The film’s lead actor, Daniel Hendler of Uruguay, also won a Silver Bear as best actor for his portrayal of Ariel, a Jewish Argentine searching for the truth about his father.
