Daniel Lipsen, Independent, and Willism Gallacher, Communist, today called on the British Government to confiscate anti-Jewish leaflets sent here from Sweden and to arrest persons who distribute them. The leaflets are mailed by Einez Aborg, a Swedish anti-Semite.
They also urged that the government ask Sweden to stop Aberg’s activities. They pointed out that the leaflets, which they termed libellous were having a marked effect in Britain.
Home Secretary James Chuter Edo replied that steps were being taken to deal with the matter, and that any evidence of infringement of the law will be referred to the proper authorities. He added that he will consider the proposal to contact the Swedish Government.
