Daniel L. Schorr, American newspaper man, has been elevated to the rank of Officer of the Order of Orange Nissan by Queen Juliana, it was announced here today.
Mr. Schorr, who is now with the Columbia Broadcasting System was a member of the staff of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency from 1954 to 1941 During World War II he was a member of the staff of the Dutch news agency ANETA which was organized by the Netherlands Government-in-Exile. Later he was the correspondent in Holland of a number of publications, including the Christian Science Monitor Time magazine and the New York Times.
