David A. Brown. national chairman of the United Jewish Campaign, was elected chairman of the China Famine Relief Board of Directors at a meeting held Saturday.
Announcement of Mr. Brown’s election to the body which seeks funds here for relief of famine sufferers in China was announced by D. O. Lively, director of the organization.
Dr. Jacob Glass was the guest of honor at a dinner given Sunday night at the Park Cental Hotel, marking his completion of forty years as a physician. Supreme Court Justice Selah B. Strong. and Congressman William I. Sirovich were the speakers.
