The “Philadelphia Jewish Times,” Anglo-Jewish weekly, has been taken over by David Alter, the publisher of the “Jewish Criterion” of Pittsburgh.
William R. Langfeld is editor of the “Jewish Times” and S. H. Miller is manager. The publication has been improved and considerably extended under the new management.
An arrange of more than $1,000 daily has been distributed by the New York Community Truse during the past twenty days. The disbursements, aggregating (###), included come to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem of (###).Appropriations paid out during January were produced by memorial among others, by Mr. and Mrs. Felix M.
