The jubilee of Chaim Nachman Bialik, dean of the Hebrew poets whose 50th birthday Jews all over the world are observing, will be marked by a special program to be given by David Vardi, of the original Moscow Habimah, in a joint farewell recital with Eva Yoalit on Sunday evening, March 5th, in the City College Auditorium in New York City. Mr. Vardi will impersonate 25 outstanding personages, each conveying in his own manner felicitations to Bialik.
Among those who will greet the Hebrew poet, himself interpreted by Vardi, will be: Mendele Mocher Sefarim, David Frishman, Louis Lipsky, Stephen S. Wise, Saul Tchernichovsky, Dr. A. Coralnick, Maurice Schwartz, Boris Schatz, Enrico Glichenstein, Reuben Brainin, Perez Hirshbein, Jacob Fishman, Joseph Klausner, Chaim Greenberg, Abraham Raisin, Mordecal Spector, Simon Frug, Zvi Masliansky, I. Ch. Ravnitsky and Karl Marmor.
