Day schools in small North American Jewish communities are being targeted for special aid through the Boston-based Partnership for Excellence in Jewish Education. The new assistance $10,000 grants and 10 days of free consulting to seven schools each year is intended to compensate for the fact that schools in areas with 15,000 or fewer Jews generally receive less expertise and support than those in major metropolitan areas.
