Chief Rabbi Isaac Hertzog, of Ireland, has had an interview with Eamon de Valera, president of the executive council of the Irish Free State, on the subject of the situation of the Jews in Germany, it was learned today. President de Valera expressed his deep sympathy with the members of the Irish Jewish community in their anxiety over the fate of their German brethren and his hope that the cause of their concern would soon be removed.
