The question of the Dead Sea concession was again raised in parliament by Colonel Heneage. Replying to a question. Assistant Colonial Secretary Lunn declared that while the agreement on the concession has not yet been put into its final form, the concession is binding, in its own substance, upon the governments of Palestine and Transjordania.
Colonel Heneage asked whether it is proposed to take action in view of the importance of potash to the agricultural community of Great Britain. To his query the Assistant Colonial Secretary replied that there is a provision in the concession which prohibits the operating company from restricting its output without the consent of the government.
