Great excitement prevailed in the Lithuanian capital today over the execution of the death sentence imposed by the Court Martial on two Jewish and two non-Jewish workers, on the charge of “Communism.”

The two Jewish workers sentenced to death by the Court Martial were Chaim Wiz and Salman Schwarzberg, typesetters of the Yiddish daily newspaper in Kovno, the “Yiddishe Stimme.”

In Rokiskis, the Court Martial sentenced to death three workers, two of which are Christians and one Jews.
