Funeral services for the late Mrs. Felix Harris, pioneer Zionist worker and first secretary of the Hadassah Organization of Canada, who died Sunday, were held from her late home, 530 Outremont avenue, yesterday afternoon.
Services were conducted by Rabbi J. L. Zlotnik, former executive director of the Zionist Organization of America, assisted by A. S. Super of Shaar Hashomayim Synagogue. Cartor Masters chanted the memorial prayer.
Mrs. Harris was one of the first women to join the ranks of the Zionist Organization and attended the initial Zionist Congress called by Theodor Herzl at Basle, Switzerland, in 1897. From that date she was an ardent worker in the movement, first in Manchester, England, and later in Montreal.
