A wood slab into which the Ten Commandments have been carved by Leo A. Meltzer, Jewish leader and former B’nai B’rith president, was dedicated at Herzl Synagogue here.
Chief Justice Walter B. Beals of the Washington State Supreme Court will speak on “The Ten Commandments, Foundation of All Law.” Meltzer’s handiwork will be unveiled above the synagogue’s ark.
