Declaring anti-Semitism to be “not a Jewish problem but a Gentile disease,” Rabbi William F. Rosenblum, president of the Synagogue council of America, in an interview yesterday, urged that hatred for minority groups be declared a sin which will debar church members from the rights and privileges enjoyed by the faithful. It will do more to destroy the age-old crime of anti-emitism than all the polite assurances of good will by creed leaders, which, the ##asses feel, are spoken ‘for reasons of policy,'” he declared.
Rabbi Rosenblum left by air yesterday for London. He will visit several European countries to make first hand observations and to confer with religious and ##ivic leaders in an effort to point up American cooperation for stamping out the new ## of religious intolerance which is enveloping war-shattered countries. He will attend the Workshop Against Anti-Semitism in Switzerland, July 30 – Aug. 5.
