A Jewish chapel at the Ohio State Penitentiary, established by the Independent Order B’nai B’rith, was dedicated. There are forty-eight Jewish inmates at the institution. Warden P. E. Thomas, I. B. Jashenofsky, Jacob Myers, Rabbi Jacob Tarshish and Rabbi I. M. Rivlin spoke at the exercises. Sidney G. Kusworm, representing the I.O.B.B., addressed the gathering.

This is the second Jewish Chapel in a penal institution in the United States. The first is at Sing Sing.
