Israeli defense forces will maintain constant vigilance over Israeli fishing boats operating in dangerous waters, it was disclosed today. In the aftermath of the sinking of the Israeli trawler Orith by an Egyptian missile boat off the northern Sinai coast last week, all fishing boats have been given new instructions concerning communications and identification. The instructions are to be followed whenever the boats enter potential danger zones such as the waters of northern Sinai. The area is rich in fish but has been abandoned by Egyptian fishermen fearing capture by Israelis.
