Delegates from more than 100 Brooklyn synagogues and affiliated organizations will attend the second annual convention of the Brooklyn Council of the United Synagogue of America which will take place on April 22 at the East Midwood Jewish Center, 1625 Ocean avenue.
Mr. Martin Wechsler, president of the council, announced that the Brooklyn section of the Women’s League will also be represented at the meeting. Vital questions affecting Brooklyn Jewry will be discussed, with special consideration of the Kashruth situation, and a joint, borough-wide “back to the synagogue” campaign to be undertaken in the fall.
