Intensification of Jewish religious work will be sought when 450 delegates, representing 78 congregations, sisterhoods, brotherhoods and young people’s leagues of Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and the District of Columbia, meet at Philadelphia on April 15, the Union of American Hebrew Congregations announced here.
Synagogue and organization matters will be taken up in an all-day session in the Community House of Temple Rodeph Shalom Representatives of the young folks’ groups, in addition to participating in the general proceedings, will hold a special meeting of their own. The committee of arrangements is headed by Charles E. Fox and Rabbi Julian Feibelman.
