An American Jewish Committee delegation in Argentina honored the victims of the AMIA terrorist attack.
The delegation, led by President Richard Sideman, is meeting with Jewish leaders and government officials.
Its members visited the AMIA Jewish central institution Monday to remember the 85 people killed in the 1994 terrorist attack on the building. No one has been brought to justice in the case. They also shared lunch with the institution’s executive committee.
The delegation is scheduled to meet with Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner on Tuesday evening, as well as the prosecutor working on the AMIA case, government ministers and the U.S. ambassador to Argentina, Earl Anthony Wayne.
