A pledge that the British Government would do all it could to discourage maltreatment and discrimination against Jews in the Arab lands was made by Goronwy Roberts, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, to a delegation of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, it was learned today. The delegation called on the minister Friday to make representations about the treatment of Jews in a number of Moslem countries, particularly since the Six-Day War in June.
