The first delegation of American Jewish women leaders to conduct an on-the-spot survey of Israel’s economic progress since the Israel bond drive started two years ago left New York for Israel today. The delegation consists often-outstanding American Jewish women leaders who will remain in Israel for two weeks.
Key leaders of Israel’s Government and industry will confer with members of the women’s Israel bond delegation. The delegates will visit industrial and agricultural projects financed by the Israel bond drive, and will discuss plans for Israel’s further development under the impact of Israel bond investments.
