A delegation from the Federation of Czechoslovakian Jews, headed by Chief Rabbi Hertz, president of the organization, was received today by Czech President Benes, to whom they expressed their continued loyalty to Czechoslovakia, in connection with the celebration of Czechoslovakian independence day.
The group also discussed current problems facing the Czech government in regard to the formation of a new State Council. President Benes stated that he greatly appreciated the patriotic sentiments of the Czech Jews.
