A five-man delegation representing Alpha Omega Fraternity, an organization of American dentists, arrived here today for a two-week visit. The fraternity is raising money in the United States for the establishment of a dental school at the Hebrew University here. The delegation will discuss with University officials the organization of the school and its members will lecture on dental procedures and advances.
A 32-member delegation of the New York Metropolitan Council of B’nai B’rith concluded a tour of Israel last night by presenting to Israel President Itzhak Ben Zvi citation from the organization, during a one-hour audience with the President.
Earlier this week-end, the American Jews had been guests of Israel’s Chief Rabbi, Dr. Isaac Herzog. At a reception at the home of Development Minister Dov Joseph, the 32 B’nai B’rith members were each given a specially designed copper plate.
