Treatment of the Jews in Germany was to be one of the chief topics of discussion at the meeting of the executive committee of the International Olympic Committee with the American delegation leading a protest against any discrimination in the events.
The American delegation will not only demand that Jews be free to represent other nations at the next Olympiad to be held in Berlin in 1936, but also that they be free to represent Germany, Brigadier General Charles Sherill, American delegate to the meeting, declared last night.
If Germany refuses to accede to these demands, it was said, the games will not be held in Germany and invitations will be sought from other countries.
