Demand Factory Director’s Dismissal for Allowing Anti-semitic Practices

Dismissal of the director of the glass factory, Svisldtehsky, in the district of Minsk, was demanded by the Central Committee of the Soviet Labor Union in White Russia at a meeting held to consider the anti-Semitic practices disclosed in the factory.

Upon the complaint of Miss Barshay, a worker in the factory, that she had been subjected to cruel treatment at the hands of her fellow-workers, an investigation commission was appointed. All charges were proved in the investigation, which disclosed that members of the comsomel, Communist Youth Organization, participated in the attacks. Because the factory official ignored Miss Barshay’s complaints, the White Russian Committee demands drastic action against him.
