Charged with cruelty and anti-Semitism against Jewish children in the Children’s Hospital of Minsk, the woman superintendent and five nurses were tried in the Minsk court.
Despite the fact that the majority of the witnesses, including doctors at the institution, substantiated the charges, only one of the defendants received a sentence and was released on condition of good behavior. The others were acquitted. The Minsk press demands a retrial.
