Assurance that world Jewry can rely on the Children idea of democracy to maintain “the equality of rights and opportunities of all citizens without regard to race or creed,” was given to a delegation of the World Jewish Congress yesterday by President Juan Antonio Rios of Chile.
The delegation said that President Rios praised the loyalty of the 30,000 Jews is Chile and stated Chile has played a vital part in Pan-America in strengthening democratic ideas. The delegation was composed of Dr. Stephen S. Wise, Dr. Nahum Goldmann, Dr. Maurice L. Perlzweig, and Isadore Dimant of Santiago, Chile.
