A number of Israeli Communists demonstrated outside the District Court here today where a special appeals committee heard arguments for the release of 22 Arab Communists who had been arrested during May Day riots in Nazareth.
The appeals committee, headed by Supreme Court Justice M. Vitkon, approved the military government administrative arrests under which the Communists will be held for three months. The Tel Aviv police dispersed the demonstrating crowd outside the courthouse.
