A call to the Jews here to participate in a mass-demonstration against the Nazi massacres of Jews in occupied territories was issued today on behalf of the American Jewish Congress, the B’nai B’rith and the Jewish Labor Committee.
The mass-demonstration, arranged jointly by the three organizations, will take place in Madison Square Garden on July 21. Prominent leaders of American Jewry will be among the speakers condemning the Nazi atrocities against civilian Jews. Armed defense for Jews in Palestine will also be demanded at this mass-meeting.
The Rabbinical Council of America issued a call to all rabbis throughout the United States to memorialize the Jewish victims of Nazi brutality on July 23, the day of Tisha B’ab.
