Youthful Zionist-Revisionists demonstrated outside the British Embassy here today, and sent a stone crashing through a window wrapped in a sheet of paper which said: “We shall not rest until Ben-Joseph is released.” Earlier, a Zionist-Revisionist delegation was received by the British Ambassador and protested the death sentence, appealing to the King to exercise his pardon prerogative. The Women’s International Zionist Organization and the Jewish Union of National Women appealed to Queen Elizabeth, in memory of her mother, to ask the King to intercede and prevent the hanging of Ben-Joseph. The Rabbinical Association cabled the Archbishop of Canterbury requesting that he intervene with the King to obtain commutation of the youth’s sentence.
