Dozens of reserve soldiers and members of a group called “Parents Against Silence” demonstrated today outside the Premier’s office here to protest against the continued Israel Defense Force presence in Lebanon and demanding that it withdraw from that country before winter.
The demonstration took place as reports come in from Lebanon that an Israeli army position near Shouafat south of Beirut come under fire today and that an Israeli soldier was wounded yesterday in an anbush near the Zaharani River some eight miles south of the Awali River.
