A $100,000 personal donation to the American Friends of the Hebrew University was made by William Getz, of Chicago, a dental industrialist. The donation will go to the Hebrew University’s Alpha Omega Research and Postgraduate Center in Jerusalem. His contribution was the most recent of a series of gifts he has made to dental schools, totaling $1,275,000 in less than a year. Various American institutions have benefited from his generosity.
