A report that Raymond J. Healey, self-styled “American Hitler,” was beaten up by fellow-prisoners on Welfare Island where he is serving a sixty-day term for disorderly conduct, was denied by the office of the Commissioner of Correction yesterday.
An assistant to Commissioner Austin H. MacCormick said that Healey is at present confined in Correction Hospital on the island undergoing the psychiatric tests suggested by Magistrate Brodsky when he sentenced Healey.
