Immigrants prevented from landing because of the exhausted quotas may return to the U.S. next July with their old passports and visas, if the time for which they are valid has not expired.
A ruling to this effect has been received by the Hias (Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society) from the State Department.
