The Warsaw radio announced today that the militia in Katowice has arrested former S.S. leader Joseph Zagorza, one-time deputy commander of the Oswiecim death camp.
Zagorza, who is now in prison at Sonowiec, will be tried at Katowice in September together with Rudolph Hoess, the commander of Oswiecim, who was seized several months ago by U.S. troops in Germany and turned over to Poland.
