Cuza, the leader of the anti-Semites in the Roumanian Parliament, continued today the inciting speech, interrupted yesterday when his followers attempted to attack Jewish Deputies in the House. He declared that the Roumanian people would massacre the Jews if Russia ever attacked Roumania.

Cuza’s speech evoked a storm of protest in Parliament, the leader of the Peasant Party, M. Lupu, protesting vigorously, amidst general approval. He pointed out that such declarations were a crime against Roumania. The Speaker of the House, thereupon intervened with the declaration that minorities would always be protected because it was a patriotic duty to do so. He called upon Cuza to finish his speech which brought more hatred than use to Roumania.
